Like one old boy said, " heck fire, you can spend over $4000 ever danged week on beer and cigars, let the old lady blow the rest on groceries, rent and electric bills and it don't matter, cause the mailman is gonna bring you another $5000 check on Wednesday"

Money doesn't buy happiness, but its much nicer to be sad in Porsche than a hyundai.

Depends what you consider a scam, if you were to receive a letter in the mail saying send us a $1 or you could be struck by lightening this would likely be considered a scam but your chances of winning anything are considerably less than you being struck by lightening. A fool born every minute is the business model for all of these "free" and "win" promotions so please consider if no one responded there would be no more junk mail, email or recorded phone calls. I say that would be a win!

I do wish junk mail would be a thing of the past.

You are looking at it wrong. Think of it as fuel...They send you fuel for your stove at their expense delivered to your mailbox.

The internet junk mail is interesting........according to the experts.....internet junk mail has declined from 96.3 of all e-mail to 94.6 percent of e-mail.
I don't want to say this means spammers are getting lazier, but the other day I wired money to an African prince and ordered ***** enlargement pills from the same link.

You might want to ask your significant other what they have been googling :)

Where do these "experts" get this figure? I receive almost no spam that isn't from someone I've given my email address to (in most cases an online purchase). Either Outlook.com and Gmail have extremely effective spam filters or this is wildly overblown.
Come to think of it, other than Dish network/Direct TV, alternative electricity suppliers and election year political ads I get very little postal junk mail either.

Ahhhh.......it was a joke.......the numbers were made up......don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I noticed on their literature that the chances of winning is 1:2,700,000,000 (2.7 BILLION). Now since there are only about 300 million people in the US, how exactly do they do that drawing?
