Tractor
John Deere 5045D, International Farmall 140
Hello there. New to the forum from Texas. I just bought my first new tractor, a John Deere 5045D, with a 512 loader, bail spear and a 6' brush hog. I am currently waiting for the dealer to finish assembling it so I can go pick her up. My question for everyone is, does anyone have any dimensions for the tractor with the loader attached. I'm not quite sure I have enough trailer to haul it, and I need to get it about 100 miles to the farm.

Thanks in advance!

You can haul it on a 20ft bumper pull with the tail wheel of the shredder hanging off a bit. I would go with a 24ft low boy and 5K axles

That's what I was guessing, but I wasn't 100% sure. I am yet to see what the tractor looks like with the loader attached. Currently, I have a 16' lowboy, and a 28' gooseneck, but no way to pull the gooseneck at the moment. The way its looking, I may have to just make two trips.

You can fit it all. Just lift the loader up in the air and put a piece of angle iron on the lift cyl. so it wont be able to go down. Pull the tractor all the way up and put a red flag on the mower wheel.. Be very sure your tires are in good shape!
