Any easy suggestions, my grandson and I started to get ready to split a Long 460 to replace the rear seal and the clutches ... are at the point of removeing the rear hood and the steering wheel needs to come off ... simple, remove the nut use the wheel puller... NOT... we oiled the shaft and with pressure from the puller we have used a ploe hammer and it won't release ....

can you get to the backside to tap it with a hammer, while you still have pressure on it with the puller? Also use some wd-40 or some PB blaster on it and let it soak. zman

:confused:can you possibly get a small torch such as a propane type in it to apply some heat, without messing up your wheel? they make some as small as a pocket type torch you can fill with a small can of butane gas like you would a cigarette lighter.
