Those forks do look nice - can't imagine the JD forks would be a lot more $$, ha! Thanks for the info!

JDdude, curious as to what you have found that shows less wear in an oil analysis instead of Rotella? I used to have an older 6.5 diesel and used it in that, the dmax and JD, but always interested in tips from others.

Congrats on the tractor. I hope that you have better luck than I do. I ordered mine the 5th of April. The tractor and loader are there but the 72" mower deck still is not in and is not expected to ship from the factory until later this week. Hopefully they have the 62D available.

I'm a little bit worried about the deck, but the dealer told me that they have a number of 62D's on order that they are expecting to come in any day. I'm more worried about the quick hitch - I'm planning to use a broom on it and will want that very soon, however it had to be ordered. A friend of mine bought a 47" blower for his 455 a number of years ago and he placed the order in May and didn't actually get the blower on until late December! I'm going to grab the first 54" blower that the dealer can get his hands on and tuck it away in my garage so I KNOW that I will have it when the snow flies next fall.

My dealer checked when I ordered my tractor last week and said the 62D MMM will be here on or before 4/28/11.

You know, if you had pallet forks on that 2520 you'd find more uses for it. :D

Ha ha, hey Dmay. I guess I'm a little late replying; I didn't get a thread subscription message.:(

Anwyay, my shiny new 61" bucket is already stored away and ye old forks are on the loader, you betcha! I wish I could slap a new set on the new tractor but there aren't enough to go around. The new ones have come a long way since the originals and plans are still in the works to go farther.

The nicest pallet forks I've seen for JD are from artillian.

Thanks R.o.D.! Much appreciated.

Hopefully that is when I can see mine also... especially if they had some on order before I got involved. While I look out the window right now and see snow falling, I don't anticipate cutting any grass within the next couple of weeks around here! haha

Dang...its already in the lower 90's here....and I'm in the HVAC biz....time to ramp up for summer. Its getting harder every year to face this heat, and I've been doing this work for 33-34 years now :(
