ALL, and I mean ALL, of Kubota's product and pricing literature and their website says that the owners manual is WRONG.

None of my stuff does... seriously. Would you provide us a link to where it says this on the website? I'd really like to know.

Where, exactly? They don't come right out and say the O/M is wrong. Unless you expect that because these other things show different figures, we're supposed to take that as gospel that the O/M is wrong - is that it?
I already had a copy of that price guide, spec sheet, and brochure. As I've always understood it, the "price guide" was simply part of a quotation provided to the state of Minnesota as part of the bidding process (I have the full doc). I wouldn't promote it as "official Kubota documentation." The spec sheet and brochure have been out for quite a while, unrevised (both are worthless IMHO, in that they don't break down the two parts of the total flow, or give you the rated rpm).
The O/M could very well be wrong, but none of this PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is.
The one thing I think we can agree on is that according to the Woods BH specs, either set of flow specs you choose to use are good enough for the 80-X. That was really my point to begin with.
