Pumping a lot of water from basement sump what to do with it? Irrigation?

I assume basement is unfinished? Some pictures may help.
So many questions. One is if the water table is that high, if you dig a hole in the yard do you hit water at, say, a foot?

Yep. I can do the volume tank thing. However volume amount is not my concern as I know it’s outrageous. Digging a hole. I’ll report back after I’ve dug one. 1 ft. Doubtful. 2 ft. Maybe. 3ft. Likely 4ft almost certainly

With all that water in the ground, I have to wonder about septic leach fields.......that can't be good.

land drain from west to east.png

Nearly all the drainage from the lot goes from west to east (naturally) and basically between the properties I've made a path for the water to drain to the ditch. Works great. Like a darn river. I can make one on the north and the west and I'll have a moat during rainy season.

So the building, I would like to put on the north east corner. IFF a pond were to go in the only really okay spot would be on the north west. Pumping the water from the house sump to the pond does not seem favorable. With the pond on the west then I can drain the overflow to the ditch nice and slow. If I can get the flow to the new building site, then going from there to the pond seem more reasonable. However, I don't specifically want a pond, just a volume big enough to run a irrigation pump for 60-90 minutes a night (est. time)

This lot is exactly 1 acre. I did capture some images from satellite last night. I値l get them on when I get a minute. For all you 妬mplausible posters. Fine. Just know I致e been a systems engineer including hydraulics for 25 years. Flow. Pressure. Pump sizing. Line sizing. That sort of thing. Numbers are my thing. BUT let痴 say I知 off by 1/2 just for fun. Now. I have 10k gal a day. What do I do with it?

Bottle it and sell it to the masses!

Calculations during normal times figure to be around 25k gallons per day. I've ran the math on that several times. HP/flow vs head vs run time. Regardless of the numerical amount, it is a bunch.

I would like to be able to utilize the water supply for lawn irrigation, but there is not enough volume in the sump to run a pump.

If you'd read the whole thread, you'd see his calculations are correct. ;)

I, for one, have to believe the words,,, or the numbers are incorrect,,

In the first post of this thread,, the OP states there is not enough water in the sump to run an irrigation pump,,
10K gallons per day is surely enough to fill the ENTIRE basement of a small house every three days,,

How can a full basement of water not be enough to run an irrigation pump?

If the basement is usable,, and the sump pump is not some 220 volt monster pump,,,
the water coming into the basement is WAY less than 25K gallons per day,, or even 10K gallons per day,,,

we really need a reality check on the water volume,,,

Has the sump pump ever failed? how many feet deep did the basement fill in one hour?

If it hasn't failed,, turn it off,, we have to know,,

OR, put a meter on the wire powering this pump,, how many kilowatts of electricity are being used?
if the water volume is near the high side,, the homes electric bill must be over half due to the sump pump,,,
time to move,,,

Hmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,
