On December 14, 2000, Steve Clarke of Havertown, PA became the fastest pumpkin carver on record. In just one minute and 14.8 seconds, Steve carved a pumpkin Rosemont High School where he teaches. In the process, Steve trimmed 19 seconds off the time set be the previous record holder, Jerry Ayers of Baltimore, OH.
