Pups-They're here...

Moab, My lab had her first (and last) litter a couple weeks ago. The sire is Cooter, my B&T Coonhound. They sure are cute little buggers...

Cory, I think I can count 7 pups. . .maybe 8. How many were in the litter? It's funny that they all had thier father's trait of being solid black. They sure all look healthy and hungry.

There were 9 at the birth, but 2 were stillborn. We have 4 boys and 3 girls. I expected to have a bit more variety in color, but they are all solid black. None of them have the brown markings of their father. If you didn't know better, you would think they were black lab ups. I think they're gonna have his long ears though.
