The pins/holes in the stabilizers can be tight....or not. Just depends how they hit. But there are several on each side, so you can get pretty close. Even when not "real tight" on mine, it's about the same as my last machine with the turnbuckles - they would loosen a little during use until hitting a cotter pin so even though they started pretty tight, could have some sway later on in the day.

Grateful - that's a good illustration about the difference in dealers since you know both ours. You read it here often about picking a good dealership but if you haven't done business with them in the past nor know anyone who has, I think a lot of people would visit mine, then yours and choose yours since it is so much larger. But turned out the much smaller "mom & pop" type dealer was vastly superior in most all ways. That's like lots of things you read here.....great advice....but until you've actually experienced it, you really don't understand it. Stuff like two similar 25 HP machines but one is 1,000 lbs heavier - you don't really get the difference in capability until you've tried to do work with both. Sorry...rambling...that post just made me think of other things.... :)

Between their ranting on and on about there was no way they would put the heavier loader and dropping that extra $1000. on my sons loan for taking 0% without ever mentioning that would be done, they have lost a customer. That should have been discussed but wasn't, he would have went to Farm Credit and borrowed the money and gotten the correct price had he known ahead of time, at least he gets a dividend check from them every year. There's been no follow up from them, no thank you note, not a key fob, no hat. Just lies out of mouthy in the background. They'll never get a recommendation from anyone in this family.

On the telescoping stabilizers they're very loose and sloppy compared to the ones he has on his Kubota and Deere. They do the job but the internal sliding bar should have been longer.
