Nice Cummins Gator Guy!
I still need a “ranch hand” type bumper on mine!

I got the chance to weigh just my truck and trailer last week and the unloaded weight was 18,320 so the 5100E, 520M loader, filled tires, bucket and Grapple weighs ~ 12,830 lbs. The grapple has an advertised weight of 960lbs so the tractor and loader/bucket is just under 12,000 lbs. I really didn't expect that much weight from an open station 5-e series.

That’s a great find and a great write up. In my opinion John Deere really does do a nice job of engineering tractor. I’ve owned a smaller 5 series and a 1 series, and they have both pleased me in performance, ergonomics, and capabilities for their size.

What type of tillage are you planning to do with that machine?

Nothing too crazy, pull a 8’ disc harrow, aerating, overseeding with a 6’ seed drill etc. I don’t grow any row crops so I’ll be planting and maintaining pastures and food plots for deer season.
