I have been looking for a good 30-40hp tractor and came across the 3325. I have been searching for a good forum and came across this one. I was very impressed with the willingness to help folks with questions/concerns on buying a Mahindra. Having said all that, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the 3325?? Is it a good reliable tractor? The price is great in comparison to the big three. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

A good friend has a 3525, which is basically the same, (I think powersteering is the main difference....the 3325 i think actually has a little more power). His has been trouble free. They are good tractors, you won't go wrong with it. I looked at them but decided I needed a little bigger tractor and went with the JD 5103. They are priced nice too. Let us know what you decide.

Thank you for the information. I have an old Ford 8N thats ready to be retired and need something a little bigger to replace it. I plan on buying in January so I'll keep you posted.

I bought the 3525 last past Feb. I've been very pleased with the tractor. It does have power steering, it doesn't have the automatic transmssion, but I figure that is one less thing to have to deal with. I have about 120 hours on mine and bought it with the FEL. I ended up choosing it over the C35 because it was heavier and looked more like a tractor than a overpowered lawnmower.

THe 3325 and 3525 are basically the same aside from power steering, the down swept exhaust on the 3525 and the rear fenders are a little bit different.

IMO the 25 series are the best and most reliable model.

Well, do a search here on the net and go ask a few dealers what they know about them. Let's see. From what I've heard or maybe read, this tractor has been around a long, long time. International Harvester had something to do with setting up the company in India long, long ago. The 33 or 3525 is suppose to be the 40 hp IH built back somewhere around 1964. Use to be a 4 cylinder, but now it's a three. The short of it is that it's been around and is not going anywhere. If you want a tractor that has been proven and in existance longer than several of the tractor companies have today, then you can't go wrong with it. If I could pull this kind of weight with my 1/2 ton, I'd buy it too.
