I agree with you MadMax31. No one local can ever seem to touch Barlow's price's though. And then you add what you save in tax and it is hard to pass up. I checked with my local dealer first on the B2650 and Barlow's prices was a few thousand cheaper. Granted, that includes the savings in tax, but that is allot of money. BTW, I just got the call from Steve Barlow and they are delivering my B2650 this Wednesday. This was such an easy transaction and those guys are so nice and nice to deal with.
Not to hijack your thread but has anyone purchased tractor accessories online? Are the savings still decent, or would shipping offset any savings? In my case, I'm looking for a front mount snowblower for my BX2350. Thanks!
Some of the comments are confusing to me. When I was looking for a tractor I worked with the local Kubota dealer. He encouraged me to look around online at what's available to get an idea about pricing. When I finally bought my tractor, from him, he beat the price of every deal I could find BEFORE I told him what it was.
Maybe I just got lucky with this dealer. I never felt pressured, just informed. I've been there a couple of times since then, once for a bad battery and the other time most recently for the parts and fluids for the 50 hour service. Both times we had the time to talk about his business and things in general.
This guy should be a Kubota representative and go to other dealers to instruct them how to act.
Kubota B8200, then a Kubota L3130 HST, now a Kubota L3400 HST
Just a passing observation... I was cruising rural Northern Maryland, in the Bel Air area, and a pickup truck with an equipment trailer went by me- I am pretty sure it said "Barlow's" on the truck! I wonder if it was from KY, delivering something???

Marvin retired from the US Army a few years ago and says he enjoys delivering/picking up Kubotas all around the US so it probably was Marvin.
