Purchasing ammo online

I like Midway too. I think it's the only online place I've ordered from. My local gun shop simply cannot be beat though.

Since my local stores have a good stock of .22 now, I can find it for about .04 per round which beats about any mail order. My local gun dealer runs sales on 9mm for $8.99 per box of 50 for target loads which is pretty good pricing. Of course the self defense stuff is still outrageous. Lucky for most of us, we don't need a lot of that. I don't use it for practice, only for defensive carry so it doesn't get used up but does need to be replaced due to age occasionally.

I have ordered from Midway before but they were higher last week. I have never checked Target Sports. I will look them up.

I tried looking at the ammo using AmmoSeek BUT the prices they give do not include shipping. Some of the cheaper prices ended up being MUCH more when shipping added.

They have a scale on the right side that shows how much shipping is. If it is over 1 or 2 I ignore it.

Academy is great for .22 with free ship. I think someone pointed that out on here. I wore them out buying a box every week for a while.

I shoot 16ga and like the herters from cabelas. You can pick them up on sake with free ship too. I hope cabelas doesn't suck like BP after the deal goes down. Cabelas store brands are far superior to red head junk.
