Any of you all have experience using hydraulic fixed leg jacks or landing gear? Straight electric ? Am looking at upgrading the SO's horse trailer and deciding whether to get the bulldog power drive, an Atwood electric or go hydraulic. Trailer is already equipped with batteries, so that part of the equation is solved.

My first though was the old pushbutton transmissions in 60's Dodge/Plymouth :D

Now I am curious what my 5th wheel has. It is electric, with a handcrank backup.

Well, since we seem to have stumped the braintrust, I decided to get an AM series jack from Equalizer Systems - Horse & Cargo. From online reviews, it was a fifty-fifty split of electric vs. hydraulic. Ended up calling our trailer manufacturer (Shadow) for a vote (hyd).
Found the hyd. one at an RV surplus center for very close to the price of an electric one. It should be delivered today.

All the 5th wheel travel trailers I ever looked at (including the one I used to have) had straight electric with the handcrank backup. I've seen some other kinds of jacks with air over hydraulic, but no experience with the kind being talked about in this thread. And of course the air over hydraulic jacks I'm familiar with were for shop use, not mounted on any kind of vehicle or trailer.
