Put a Hydraulic motor on a Badlands winch

FWIW...municipal scrapyards and firetruck graveyards are good places to find hydraulic winches/parts etc...

The old Warn (I think) style winches were fairly easy to switch from PTO to hydraulic to elec. and vice versa etc...

12-15k I have snatch blocks if I need to add them. I致e also been looking at trying to add another high amp alternator too.

Some place called DC power and Mechman offer 320 amp ones so that with a stock one should be able to keep up

Normally winches run off the battery not the alternator. That is one hefty alternator. I had a Dodge V-10 I installed two matching big batteries in to drive the 12,000#er. Worked great till the batteries ran down and that was pretty fast under a almost max load.

That is exactly why one needs the high output alternator
