Direct Injection engines and turbos go together. Indirect Injection engines and turbos not so much. Yes, you can put a turbo on an IDI engine but it's going to come at a high cost to performance ratio. A significant mod like this also means that you have now become the sole mechanic for this engine: no one else is likely going to want to touch it (certainly not any dealers).

More economical to sell the tractor and buy one with more [stock] power. The price differential will be far less than if you try and customize your existing tractor's engine.

OR... (this is some cool stuff, I'm going to keep an eye on it- sounds like just mods to pistons might match any power gains from adding on a turbo; but, there's cost here as well):
