I know I need to post some pictures of this but we finally have all the pex tubing in the barn(kennel) for 3720 sq feet we laid 3600 feet of 1/2 pex pipe.
And do the back of my legs hurt from all the tieing down. If I never see another zip tie again it will be too soon. It is all under pressure we have about 28 lbs in the tubing. For the floor we used about 5 to 8 inches of crusher run. Then the radiant barrier with the bubbles. Next we placed down 1 inch foam board. We also taked the radiant barrier to the bottom of treated boards. I stuff fiber glass anyplace around the bottom the door sills I could get it. We laid down mess on top of the foam, and tied tubing to that. Also all concrete has got the fibrerglass in it. Two weeks ago the concrete guy poured about 1200 sq and we still 2520 to do yet. But it will have to be done in different pours, due to pitches for the floor for my kennel.
I have had at least 16 loads of shale trucked in with a tri-axle hold about 16 to 18 ton, this is for the parking area. I had the dozer guy take out a few hedges rows for fill for my parking area, (it did not have to pushed far) and what a great place for all the rocks. We got the bank out of the barn some of that I dug with my excavator and then dozer guy pushed everything I had out to the front for my parking lot. We have filled in an area of about 100 feet by 150 with 7 feet of fill most of it from the back of the barn. I am so sick of being in mud all the time I could scream. I finally got the trench closed for water and electric and we have lights and water in the barn.
Once the floor is poured we will start to build the kennels and insulate the walls and ceiling.
