Ernie,

Jogged my memory /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
The hardest part was keeping the cows from tramping on it before i could get the line put in, and covered up.

I had to build 600 feet of hot wire fence to keep the &%$#* cows out of the ditch, and still had problems. Curious critters for sure.

Man, you sure got that right. Once I was doing some fence repair, and decided to go back to the house for lunch. The cows were nowhere to be seen, so I figured it would be OK to leave my tools there.WRONG When I got back about an hour later everything had been trampled, and had plenty of fresh manure on it/w3tcompact/icons/mad.gifI would have killed them, but the &%$#* things ran off when they saw me coming.

i've got about the same setup as RCH; a subsoiler with a pipe welded to the back; works great. around here you can rent a walk behind trencher for @ $65 for 4 hours; an do a lot of trenching in 4 hours.
