Mowing a couple of times, or more, in spring and early summer will be the most effective weed control. While weeds may not look desirable, their adverse impact on Bermuda is not as much as you might think. Every County has an OSU Extension Office where you can get good help.

There are actually 13 horses on the acreage, so plenty of manure
K built me a drag (landscape timbers, bricks, chainlink) over his objections (he wanted the $600 harrow to do it right) when we had just our three on a 2 acre lot and I had to be really diligent about rotating and hay bales and seeding.
Looking at what I mowed yesterday, the grass seems much less phased about the weeds than I am. Good, thick growth and green peeking through ... no really heavy frosts yet.
This Spring, I think I'll be okay with getting back on the regular mowing schedule and getting the weeds before they seed. My main fret and worry was the dried seeds I am mowing down and increasing the weed's initial growth.
We do have a co-op in town, and I'll go pester them in the Spring for the Sprayer.

Although there are bad weeds (and the horses will generally avoid them), not everything that grows besides grass is bad. Horses do eat a lot of "weeds", even when there is grass available.
