PVC BX Toolbox

Here is my attempt at a toolbox for the BX. It is not ideal but is cheap and simple. I am cutting it a bit smaller and gonna paint it Kubota Orange. It is a 4" piece of PVC with a cap and a screw off clean out. 2 band clamps and presto.

Not bad for a small little item carrier. Waterproof too!

I like those, I put a couple on My Bx a couple of years ago. I ended up drilling a hole in the bottom of mine, Dont know how but i kept getting water in them. I keep a chain in one and a few tools in the other one. Made the one for the chain a little shorter. Got some kubota orange paint to paint mine but havent gotten around to it yet. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Only had the paint a year /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your idea looks great. I had the same problem with my B2910-no toolbox!!! So I had my father in law weld two pieces of flat metal together to form an "L" shaped bracket. I bolted the bracket to the back side of the front end loader frame and then bolted an old ammo box to it. Have to paint it Kubota orange yet.

Are you sure your b2910 didn't come with a toolbox? Although it's location is not very obvious, my 2910 came with a toolbox on the back end of the tractor, well under the seat area, that is held in place with a faucet handled screw in locking device. The box itself is a long metal drawer-like container.

One of the first things I noticed lacking on the BX, it's just big enough for a few tools and pins. Pop riveted to the sheetmetal between the fenders.
