PVC Water Line Pulled Loose At T-Joint/Shrubs Might Go Away !!!

Oatly sells a two piece set with the Purple Primer and Medium Duty Clear Cement that is good for sprinklers. Always buy new when doing a project. The Cement will thicken over time and not work properly if it's old. The Purple Primer will separate over time and become clear looking when it's no longer any good. It's not worth the risk of failure to use old cans of either. For me, it's it's been a few months, that's too old, and I buy brand new.

Don't think I've ever had issues with the primer separating, but yeah the glue doesn't stand up well to storage. I'll just by the smallest can and consider any leftover to be disposable.

The primer lasts longer then the glue. When it's bad, it also loses it's strong smell. Since the cement gets used up a lot faster then the primer, I sometimes have several bottles of primer in my truck. It also spills easier, and it's not uncommon to lose half a can of primer when doing a project!!!!

The vast majority of my PVC work is drain lines for bathroom remodels.

It varies here a lot from no plastic pipe above ground to anything goes.

One of my each friends had nothing but trouble before he went to s slip PVC water line

Soil can be expansive and earthquake faults run through the area.

75 years is not bad for buried 1" galvanized...
