Here's what a UTV looks like....There are multiple variations on these and price ranges all over the map...As others have said, you might get lucky hunting down trade ins.

There are the 2 I've had. The little one I traded in earlier this year for the 1100.

as you can see in my signature I have a honda 300 4x4 thats about 11 years old never turned a bolt except to change oil. I also have a polaris Ranger. Its a 40 hp beast. It will go anywhere a 4 wheeler will go; if it will fit. Thats the only draw back to utv's, size. but like someone else said about their gator, they will get the job done. I love my side by side. And my wife uses it all the time. I have towed way more with it than is recommended and it will haul 1500 lbs. in the box and its pretty easy to dump a big load. but I think even an older one will be pushing your budget.
