Eufy robot vacuum.. After a year. It begin to give issues. I called the company and asked about a service center near by, or if they would send me parts.
The guy ask a couple questions and said.. We'll just send you a new one FREE of charge, and you keep the old one for parts...
I really couldn't believe what I heard.

About three days later. I had a new vacuum

I'm guessing that many brick and mortor companies have to keep money coming in and limit money going out, if they are to survive. On line companies can probably afford to give stuff away and write stuff off. Amazon supposedly disposes of billions of dollars of returned merchandise annually.

Quality Company? Any one that makes high quality products, offers good service AND doesn't sell out at the smell of money. How many great companies have been bought, and simply destroyed just to get them out of the marketplace?

Wife had a Nissan (still under warranty at that time) that blew the alternator and due to her scheduling she had it replaced at a local service station.
They used a factory replacement.

Later at dealer she mentioned the occurrence to the service mgr.
He offered a credit for parts and labor at the warranty flat rate.

Since the local garage rate was considerably below the dealer's she was but out of pocket a mere few $$'s.

That's what I call SERVICE!
(I'd suspect the kudos should be credited to the dealer rather than Nissan.)

I've also had excellent success with Hyundai. When they started the 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty I felt that they had to be good or would go bankrupt quick with that warranty. I had a 2009 Sonata until the 2013 model Genesis Coupes came out. Never a problem with my Sonata. The battery went dead on my 2013 Genesis GT Coupe in 2020 and I bought a new battery. No other problems except keeping the gas tank filled and slowing down around radar.

I drive a Kia, sister to Hyundai.

One week out of warranty (my fault as not urgent) I complained of a loud clunk right rear on occasion.
They changed a link and charged me parts and labor.
Clunk reoccurred at first pothole I met.
I complained and they offered to re install my original link for another fee.

SO, I'll NEVER ever go to that dealer again, and told them so.
OH, not a $$ breaker but still it did cost me over $100. for nothing.

I later discovered the clunk cause: The tail pipe would hit the dealer installed trailers hitch!
I later cured the annoyance by simply clamping a chunk of dense rubber at the contact location.

Or worse, the name was bought by some overseas company who now puts out cheap junk under what was once a respected brand.

To be fair, exhaust and/or suspension clunks can be very hard to find when a vehicle is on a lift due to difference in relative positions between components with weight on or off the tires.

Honda, speed queen, bosch, Amana and Chrysler ..Forgot to add local great made Amish furniture ..

Although I was disappointed with Bosch's unwillingness to fix my washer, you bring up an excellent point. The Mennonites built my barn. Not only did the builder come back and fix a few things during the first 2 years with no charge, but when I called 18years later the son who now owns the business came back and did some repairs without cost! If anyone in the Fingerlakes area of NY is looking for a barn or garage to be built, Burkholder Builders is strongly recommended!

Just had a great experience w/ Powerstop brakes. I switched to them from EBC on my 3/4 ton years back and they worked out the best. It's tough on brakes. I noted last week that I had a cracked rear rotor. Their warranty specifically states that they cover rotor cracking so I emailed them last week. They responded asking for a receipt and that they would email a tracking number. No email, but today a FedEx truck showed up with new rear brake rotors and HD pads.

I just love having NAPA brake components and my mechanic tells me that much of the repair cost is covered by NAPA warranty. Never the BS that it's covered but it's NOT because of such and such.
