Quality Electric Lot Splitter?

You must be doing something different than I was. I've got a homemade splitter that was making about 7 tons. It wouldn't split the majority of what I split.

Wood type and species make all the difference. You probably have harder wood.

I was splitting oak, mostly red. If a splitter can't split that it's hopeless.

Red oak is about the easiest splitting hardwood there is

We have majority Live or Coastal Oak with some Bay/Myrtle and Redwood...

The Oak sure does burn nice when seasoned... the Bay isn't worth picking up as it tends to rot very fast...

The twisty Coastal Oak does take some effort depending on how twisted.
