I am thinking of changing the quarter inching valve to a position control valve. Did anybody do this?

No, but I also have quarter inching on my B7800 and I would also be interested in whether it can be done and what is the cost?

The present setup has been satisfactory for my uses up to now, but I will be using more ground-engaging implements (subsoiler, moldboard plow, etc.) in the future and that is where the difference may be significant.

Would appreciate hearing what you find out.

On a 7800 I'm told by Kubota that it's a "seamless" conversion. They would use a 2910 control valve. they would replace the top cover. The only question I have is will the right rear fender have to be replaced because of the new lever location
