Question about 3pt on a BX23?

I just purchsed a leftover BX23 yesterday

Very exited to get it! Can I hook up a 3pt so I can use attachments like a post hole digger? Need to install 500ft of post fencing, could sure us a digger. I'm a newbie to this hole tractor thing and have alot to learn. Sure glad I found this site.

The 3PH on the BX series is a "limited" category 1 hitch. That means it is compatible with standard cat.1 pins and spacing but has a limited lifting height. Obviously implement weight and size are somewhat limited as well. Just make sure you use implements specifically designed for subcompact tractors. There are post hole diggers available with shorter shafts made to fit the BX and other similar tractors.

You should have gotten a seperate carton/box with all of the three point equipment in it. I have one of these

A little pricey but works excelent. Woods also makes an Estate Series specifically designed for the small tractors.

Congrats on your new machine! Even after 560 hrs, I'm still amazed at what it will do! Hard to imagine life without the backhoe. Many, if not most, of us BX owners use plain old Cat1 implements. Some of us with some specific implements have made minor modifications to accomodate them. I use a 48" and 42" auger on my BX.
