Question about airing up loaded tires

keeping dirt out, of the valve stem primarily, but with tractors they tend to see more dirt, rock, other crud, that a typical truck/car would hardly ever see. result have gotten little rocks jammed up inside the valve stem before, to caked dried mud, to other, in which case you spend more time monkey around trying to gain access to valve stem again. and possibly needing a new valve core once you get the rock/mud out.

I got one of those special air/liquid tire gauges. If you get rimguard in there it'll gum it up quick. I have a pan of water handy when checking tire pressure to clean out the gauge (by putting the head in the water and pulling on the slider to suck water in, then let the spring expell it) and use it after each tire.

Yes I forgot that part, must wash/rinse tire gauge out after use. These gauges are spring loaded so when taken off valve core it helps push the Rimguard fluid back out of gauge but still have to rinsed, might be several versions and places to buy, but I have this brand >> http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_35727_35727
