I am a new owner of a DK 40SE. There is an unused/unconnected electrical connector at the left rear of the tractor. Can someone tell me what this connector is used for?

No one has answered you yet. I don't actually know what it is but my dealer told me it was for trailer lights. Not sure if that is correct.

It is probably the 'owner use circuit'. Check your fusebox for an extra fuse marked 'customer use'. Run a test light to ground and see if it is a live circuit when the tractor is running; it may be controlled by a switch near the 'console' - check owner's manual for location of switch. Pull associated fuse to verify the particular circuit/fuse, and see if test light goes dead.

There is also one of those connectors on the CK models and there is no cab options for CKs. Email Wallace Equipment, he will know.:rolleyes:

mine has a round plug with more than two wires, Its for trailer lights "left right rurn signals, electric brakes, run lights.

If it is on the rear of the tractor usually on the passanger side it is for a optional rear work light.
