I got a used Kubota L3130 with R4s a couple of weeks ago. I just got around to checking tire pressure. I knew the rears were liquid filled, but I get liquid when I press the valves at their highest point. I've tapped the rires and it seems the liquid stops several inches from the top (as it should). Could it be the air pressure is so low that liquid comes out when the valves are pressed at top dead center?

Maybe you miss judged the level ?

I believe the level is supposed to be higher then steel wheel.

The liquid should be just over the top of the rim...
That should explain it..

Want the rim to be always under the fluid...

I have the same issue.. Even with the valve at 12 o'clock I still get liquid..

But you can buy (which you should use) a liquid pressure gauge - I got mine on ebay, but TSC does carry them..

Bet if you jacked tire off ground, than put valve at 12,and let all air pressure out,you wouldn't get any liquid?

Well, maybe you would win,if liquid was above valve stem:D

That explains it. Hopefully my TSC has a liquid gauge in stock. And hopefully my little air compressor won't get a backflow drink. Thanks!

For anyone that has a question whether a tire has liquid or how much, just expose the tire broadside to the sun around mid morning and in just a few minutes the tire temperature differential will tell without a doubt where the liquid line is. This temp. difference can be felt with your hand and as the day and ambient temperature progress upward the liquid elevation will rise just a bit.
