only good if u need to make alot of real tight turn other than that useless in my opinion if just going to be doing bushing and stuff like that

I've had it on some TM tractors and i like it as i find it's easier to keep a tractor straight on rowcrop work but wear and tear is higher than normal steering .

So for Brush cutting in ditches and hills its a waist of extra money?

Very few problems with super steer. Great for tight work, or getting close with a mid mount mower. Other than that, not worth the extra cost

Some tractor manufactuers just turn tighter. This was NH's solution to keep them in the game.

I have a NH TC34DA with supersteer.

.... I like it alot  and have had no problems with it. You can really turn on a dime.

There are 2 downsides...
1... Turning tight will rip your ground up...aka your lawn. On loose ground if you dont have 4wd on you may push the front tires and not turn as tight. Also on pavement your can wear your front tires fast.
2... If you are hooking up front attachments or doing fine loader work the bucket can move side to side up to 8" as you move the front tires side to side. But if you get used to it... it becomes really handy.

... These downsides however can be controlled by a good operator and can also be a benefit in many situations. I would buy another supersteer tractor... in fact, I cant think of not having it.

I have a TC33DA with supersteer and I like it. I use my tractor for pulling logs out of my woods, and like being able to maneuver around trees.

I think one of the biggest advantages to SS besides tight steering is on-demand MFWD (Sensitrack). I don't need the tight turns, but to automatically have front wheel drive when needed for traction is a great plus.

When I purchased my TN75F, I wasn't aware of what super steer was. I probably would have passed on it if given the choice. That being said, I wouldn't be without it now. In the middle of my gardens, I have a cleared flat where I mix my compost piles. When I designed the space, it was based on my chore tractor, a Yanmar 240D. I normally work with 16 to 24 foot piles and it gets cramped for room when we are shredding hay (often 50 or 60 bales at a time). The super steer allows me better access and manuverabilty than my little Yanmar. With a bucket about three times the size, that makes short work of that job. The super steer also allows for easy manuverability inside our fenced areas and snaking around between trees and other equipment.

I think it's great, but any technology like super steer should be an answer to a specific need. We have a machine shop and our steering is just about due for overhaul (RickB estimates about 4000 hours). While not a overly demanding job, it's not one that most home owners would be comfortable with, so the cost of overhaul should be considered. Having it if you don't need it will just result in eventual, unnecessary costs.
