Does TBN have any rules against asking for opinions regarding the quality of sales and service provided by a specific Kubota dealer?

Thank you.

I don't think so but it would probably be most polite to simply ask people to send you a private message (PM) with negative comments about specific dealers. While people routinely rave about dealers they are happy with in threads, it seems fair to use PM for negative stuff as otherwise it is archived and will be seen for years even if the dealer fixes whatever PO'd someone to begin with.

I think IslandTractor answered this pretty well. Derogatory comments about specific, named dealers or manufacturers are not permitted for several reasons:

(1) If you post such comments, you may be leaving yourself open to a lawsuit, so we're protecting you by not allowing such,
(2) If you post such comments, the rest of us are only hearing one side of the story, and while we'd like to think our members are telling the absolute truth, we don't really know that, and
(3) there would be nothing to prevent a dealer or manufacturer from posting derogatory comments about his competition.

Don't do it, it is just in bad taste.

I can't say enough good things about York County Kubota in York, SC. Very fair pricing, excellent service, and very patient dealing with the newbie (yours truly).

Same here. Got my L4400 from them about a year ago. Great experience. Good folks. Subsequently I referred two customers to them, one local, one from here on TBN. Both bought new tractors from them. Pricing was a big part of it, but there were other dealerships that just blew me off because I was a newbie and wasn't sure what I needed. York County Kubota took the time to be interested in me and gave me the info I needed to make a decision. They also didn't hard sell me on something I didn't need.

They also have huge inventory. Several other dealerships would say, you need model X but we don't have one to show you. I went by York County a couple of days ago and they had about every model on the lot. Lots of orange.

I'll also put in a plug for James River John Deere here in Rock Hill. Nice people. Helpful sales folks. I've bought implements from them.
