I recently picked up a 3 point spreader from TSC and when I hook it up, the top link fits the pin pretty loosely. I got a 7/8 pin that fits the holes correctly on the spreader, but not the top link. I have the bushings that change things to fit cat 1 from cat 2..ect and the bushing fits the pin but is then too big for the top link....does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks for your help. Dave .......... Dont know if I'm explaining this very well :confused2:

Dont know if I'm explaining this very well

The hole in the top link is larger than it should be for the pin.

You could try shimming it with a thin sheet of metal.

Realistically though, it probably won't hurt anything for it to be a little loose

It's supposed to fit somewhat loose. A spreader shouldn't be moving much at all, so it won't hurt anything even if it was looser than it should be. But, my guess is that it's fine.
