Question concerning getting the right round baler

If I had to do square bales, one of these would be on it's way to me before I planted the first field:

I want to know where these were when I was a kid, tossing square bales in the AZ desert.

Nope - you cant unload or stack in the barn with that and fields need to be pretty level. Looks slick but is a real pain to stack as the load get higher on the trailer. You can do the same with a real grapple like the one I have; 205 Compact Bale Grabber from Kuhns Mfg LLC | Innovation in small square bale handling. They also have matching accumulators that do not need any aux power from the tractor.

I matched the unit for loading and unloading in the barn. I can grab bales as fast as I can move on the field. I can also cross stack for stability

Looks to me like the 4550 is a square baler: "14" x 18" bale capacity, 60"W pickup, 11.5" gauge wheels, (2) knotters, Twine tie, Bale chute, 540 PTO, Clevis hitch, 9.5-14 tires".

Rollers carry their load, are heavier, and usually use hydraulic pressure to form the bale. Square baler has maybe 2 bales on at a time (130#) and the compressive force is via the flywheel and how tight you set your gates in the chute...the flywheel does the work, the engine just keeps it turning.

Rolling takes HP that isn't required on a square baler....Had 4 of those square balers, 2 JD, 1 Ford, 1 Case NH, had no problem using with my 2000 at 31 PTO hp and 3000#....except for the tranny PTO...needed an overrun clutch. On the CT 235, looks like a stout little sucker and per TD pretty similar size to my 2000 (wt. - PTO hp). TD didn't say if it was turbo or direct injection. Turbo would help to offset the altitude difference.
