Question for cab owners - wipers

Just planning some electrical wiring layout for my canopy ... would like to consider some sort of enclosure later... I want to put some sort of console in and need to know what to leave room for. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Do most cab have both front and rear wipers available?
Are the wipers continuous or do you hit a switch when you want a wipe? I assume they are not as fancy as automobile intermittent units. Thanks.

I'm not sure about after market cab wipers. I have 2 speed front and rear wipers in my NH TN cab. They both have windshield washers also. They are controlled by toggle switches on the right window column of the cab. I have seen some after market wipers that have the switch right on the wiper motor.

The cab on my IH2500B only has a wiper on the front. The rear window is slanted in at the bottom and the top of the cab sticks out over the rear window, so it doesn't really need one on the rear.

My Curtis cab came with front & rear wipers... one speed...
on/off switch is on each wiper motor...
...but there is also a 2nd switch for each on the overhead switch panel the dealer installed...
Both installed right thru the glass panels...


Using the switch on the wiper motor returns the wiper to the "home" position when switched off...
