Well, I wouldn't call it wide open. The woods are full of timber up to 50 years old, so the understory is more open than it normally would be, but it's still fairly tight. It has two ridges that have three dry creeks that come together with a couple of springs at the end of the drainage, and the pasture is split into one 6 acre area in the middle of the woods, and the other 9 on the SW corner. That area is where we're building, and where we'll have most of the ag work. The food plots will be in the woods, hence the need to cut trails. I don't want to go to a huge tractor, as that might be a little marginal in maneuverability, and the property is steep enough in some areas, with the rocky clay soil slippery enough that 4WD is a must.
