Was reading archives and found a thread on the red transmission fluid. I have a FX32D with red fluid and the japanese hydraulic filter. Was going to change the filter and was wondering if the red fluid is ATF and if so if it was dexron or Type F. Felt kinda light so I was thinking it maybe dexron-mercon type, but would like another opinion. Any and all comments are welcome. I wouldn't think there would be anything wrong with using ATF. It would seem as long as you didn't go too thick it would be ok. I have a front end loader if that makes a difference. Thanks Mark Whiddon
