Question from the new guy

New to the board. I just bought a fella uh320d stoll tedder rake. Dont have the first clue. The guy I got it from said it would only ted....not rake. He thought someone had welded something. As far as I can tell the tedder part works great and after some oil and wd40 the "welded" levers started to move and release the tedder bars. They move from an angle to straight up and down. Not sure how to operate and change modes. I think it may work both ways. They just didnt fool with it. any help is appreaciated.
