TBN has fantastic exposure, so I am just trying to get an idea of how many TBN'ers are knowingly or unknowingly running a adblocker such like the one google Chrome automatically installs. To be honest, I didn't even know I had the ad's blocked until my wife purchased a banner here. We both run Chrome and neither one of us could see the ad...(it's the one at the top of the page every 3'rd click or so...Creek Country Real Estate) until we turned off the adblock plus which is that little stop sign next to the favorite place star. Sorry to veer off subject a bit, but ad's are not cheap so this is a big deal to us.

Your ad is at the top of my screen right now. I use Chrome, but don't have ads blocked, and I don't recall modifying anything. I don't see a "stop" sign

There is a Bobcat ad above, and a Geico ad to the side. I use Chrome also. The ads don't bother me. Someone has to pay the bills.

I have noticed Chrome will place ads according to what you post. I posted about a chicken sandwich on 'What's for Supper??' and when I turned on Goggle maps, it ask me if I wanted to know the closest place to buy a chicken sandwich. The NSA should take lessons from Google.

There are a number of threads and posts here on TBN with discussions about advertising and how to block it. I leave the ads on, because that's what pays TBN's bills, which allows them to offer these tractor forums for the ridiculously low price of.... FREE! :confused2:

So, I cringe at folks that promote the use of ad blockers on TBN. If you want to use them, fine, but don't brag about them in the forums. :2cents:

I do use an ad blocker, but I selectively disable it for sites that I want to support. Unless their ads are really annoying, anyway.

Come on Moss.....Ad blockers are there for a reason and many of us post from work computers which must have ad blocker software on them for many reasons...Advertisers and Sellers of ads are aware of ad blockers, nothing new and it comes with the territory. ;)

Only block the really bad, annoying ads.. Like the seizure inducing ones, or 'catch the monkey!'
