Question...how many of you can see the Banner ad's here on Rural Living?

Xfax, were you running Ad Blocker Plus?

Something may have changed on TBN in the last month or so. I am running ADP and now I can see the banner ads so I wonder if Muhammad has fixed the issue?

Oh, I know that not everyone is looking for land in TN, but when our ad was running it could be blocked, so there is really no way to know if we would have gotten a lead if it had not been blocked.

it really is a little spooky to come on TBN after shopping on Amazon and see ads for exactly what I was looking at flashing by above on TBN. It's kind of like they are following you around, like paparazzi advertisers, and actually, they are following us...

Isn't the answer to have an alternative ad that does not need to "pop up" and therefore not run afoul of any nanny software?
I would certainly look at a separate advertisers page, it doesn't have to flash in my eyes every time I log on.

I run ABP and NoScript and have ZERO guilt for doing so. I not only want to keep my privacy, I want to have a non-intrusive browsing experience.

Im not so naive to believe that this site runs for free, so some advertising is necessary, but I refuse to be bombarded with "flashing" box advertisements. Simple, inline, non-graphic, text based ads like some sites use would be fine by me.

That is correct...... Nothing on the top or right side. Other than the poll results and page work icons.
