Question on adding 2nd Rear Remote on L3130

Has anyone ever added a 2nd remote to their L3130? I had the 1st one put on at the dealership in May 07 when I bought the tractor brand new. It seems I remember the salesman telling me that the 1st remote cost significantly more than the second one. He said if I decide to add a 2nd valve later since it ties into the 1st valve it cost less. I don't remember the exact price he said for the 2nd valve but $200 sticks in my head. Now I'm ready to add that 2nd remote and the dealer says I need two separate part #'s which are "valves" and each is $206 dollars a piece for a total of $412. Does this sound right?

I did not wind up buying the L3130--I bought an L4300--but was concerned with the two valves so specifically asked those questions. I recall the additional valve at $200 give or take. Maybe less.
I have seen those prices on the internet somewhere so possibly you could search for it.

If I remember correctly the add on valves come to about $400. There is the valve and a stacking kit where the stacking kit is unique to the position of the valve. When I bought they were about $200 each.

Texbaylea - Are you saying $200 for each rear remote installation or for each rear remote I need two valves at $200 per valve for a total of $400 per remote? Am I making any sense?

You need a valve AND a stacking kit for each remote position, NOT 2 valves. The stacking kit has the handle with the proper offset, the extra length bolts to hold it all together and the hoses, QDs and mounting block. I bought my L3130 in July 05 and the list price per additional remote (both pieces) was just over $400. I had 3 remotes installed when I bought and paid just over $1300. that included installation as they were making my tractor ready.

Thanks for the clarification Vernon. Guess I have to drop 4 bills for that extra remote...now I have to justify this to my bride.

66gladiator you mention "or L8304 Float Detent Valve Section $258.00". Is this another option that I'm not aware of? What does this detent valve section do?

You get either the L8303 or the L8304. The L8304 has a float position and the L8303 does not
