Checked the Diesel pump prices today on my way to camp and can't quite figure out the pricing structure in this part of Michigan. Here you can just fill up at the pump. same as with gasoline.
The price for Off-Road #1 Diesel is $2.059/gal. Off-Road #2 is $1.639/gal. The price for On-Road #1 Diesel ( I assume it's #1 since that's all they sell for On-Road) is $2.049/gal.
According to my calculations (MI has a $0.21 tax/gal.), Off- Road #1 is $0.22/gal more expensive than On-Road #1. Am I looking at this right? If so, it's considerably cheaper to run #1 On-Road rather than #1 Off-Road in my Kubota.
