Ok here is the final on this one. Got the L all back together and running this weekend. Good to drive it about even though it was about 20 Saturday morning. The screen and shroud went on easy, the top was off and I did remove the radiator to pressure wash it before hand. I"m going to guess the shroud is an upgraded part. I'm sure mine did not have this aprt before. It looks like Kubota went to the shroud over the black foam rubber stuff you can see on the edge of the radaitor and going over the top. This sort of seals the front from the back. Perhaps to not let hot air slip around front. The screen bolts on can be removed by the 4 bolts once the hood is off (the hood is 7 bolts). We'll see how it works. I did put a new thermostat back in and the needle did come up on the gauge. But again it was cool outside.

We'll see. I think my next winter project is to check the timing.
