John Deere 5050E
Have a JD5055e and a few things the exhaust temperature indicator is coming on after the hand throtle or the foot throttle has been engaged. It well run at a idle but the moment either throttle is engaged the light comes on. The bigger issue is that it lost all motion the other evening. I was pushing some cut logs out of a trail and went to put it in reverse and it wasjust motionless. I got off gave it about 90min got back on and let it run at a idle for a 1/4 mile where I parked it. My dad had been saying how it was losing all power as far as driving goes but then id be on it later the same day amd it would run fine. All fluid levels are at their appropriate levels. Havemt gotten any further then that ad of now. Any help is much appreciated, thanks and God Bless!

A quick search looks like it may be in limp mode. The light indicates the exhaust temp is too low for a regen... Making it seem like it actually needs a regen performed.

Looks like if you disregard the need for a regen, a dealer has to perform some magic to force it and clean the DPF
