Did you get to operate any tractors?
No - I was noncommittal - feeling better though but still positive. Going to try to visit the 1023e again this week, and will do that then.
You may also want to check availability of 3rd channel remote on the E's, if you think you might ever want a grapple, snowplow, or hydraulic top link.
I did ask them about that (I think), to install this plus add a grapple - they quoted $3600 for this plus the attachment.

Here is a collection of subcompacts to look over, compare ergonomics, etc. Not all though, as I've run out of time.
Thank you!! I looked through these and they look like great options. When I go back later this week to the local places, it probably won't be raining so I'll be able to test them out.

So yes, go around back and talk to the shop you will rely on for maintenance.
I have dealt with the maintenance customer service folks many times for some Stihl equipment I bought there. They were always really patient with my questions and offer quick support to help me remove bolts, for example.

Not directly with the mechanics though. I will ask about it. Indirectly, they did an excellent job on my mower, which they picked up for maintenance last winter. Overall, I have no complaints. The turnaround time for the maintenance was reasonable, and I know there's a lot of emphasis to do maintenance on your own, but it's worth it to me (time / professionalism).
1000 mg vit "C"
Vitamin D, too
YEP. The worst part about getting this, despite being vaccinated, is the headache. Goodness gracious! Starting to clear up now - thank you for the suggestions!

Faced with the decision, I still want to go see the B7510 - seems like a proper size. @rScotty pointed out a unique feature of this model, it has a "type of 3pt hitch lifting/lowering control called "1/4 inching"

Secondly, the 1023e has its own viability, too. Given the low hours, direct from dealer, I want to ask about the recall that I've seen mentioned around forums / videos I've watched to make sure that's addressed. With the upgraded seat, I think I could manage - especially because it's $8K under budget and $10K under what a new 1025r would cost me.

When you're feeling more up to it, here are some other machines to look at. Given that you've got a lawn tractor to mow with, there may be some benefit to going the next size up from a subcompact. Small compacts offer a little more clearance, and a little more capability, for a small sacrifice in maneuverability. They're often hovering around 25 horsepower, though some may offer larger engines.

Examples of a small compact include-

Massey Ferguson 1526 - As I think about it, this could be a great machine for you. It's an older design, built in Japan by Iseki for AGCO (MF's parent company).

Kubota B2601

LS MT225S

Kioti CX2510

TYM is next, and they offer a number of machines in this category, having added Branson's lineup to their own, but I'm going to have to recommend the T25. It's one of their newest machines and has some of the best ergonomics in their lineup.

John Deere 2025R

Bad Boy BB2024

Yanmar SA425

There is of course a Mahindra in this size, but it's a new model and I don't recall what it is. Bobcat, Case IH, and New Holland do not have a machine in this category, and if I missed another manufacturer- well, it's a large class.

The machines I posted are all across the country, I was thinking looking at the machines might give you some ideas, not that you need purchase any of those specific machines.

Just want to clarify I'm not spamming. 🍻

What Chinese brands are you referring to?
That was about 20 years ago, and I do not recall which brands. I did look at a few, over the internet and could observe the crude welding, etc. Like many things from China, they may improved in two decades.

My Toro Garden Tractor 17 HP Kawasaki and 48 inch deck is the same way.

I've never turned the key on the Deere and didn't start right away, so I don't know. It could be the same way.
