Hello , im looking at picking up a box blade for my Ck30, From the kioti web sight they say the kioti will pull a bb20-72 or a bb30-60. The question i have is i have a tractor supply store not from me where they carry the King Kutter brand box blades. Im not sure weather to get the regular boxblade or go for the box blade with the hinged back on it. Also should i get the 60 in or the 72 in...The the hinged back in 60in. is 520lbs,the 72in is 550lbs, the non hinged in 60 in is 415lbs and the 72in is 500lbs. Will the Ck30 pull the 72 boxblades with no problem or should i go with the 60 inch. The hinged back is supposed the keep the dirt from building up between the blades, anyone have experience using both.. I have the Hst with the industrial tires if that matters.. Any advise would be appreciated... Matt

I put 60' or a 65" box blade on that unit.

I like the Woods BB65 it just fits the width.

Unless you are a site grading contractor just a plain BB will work.

I agree with bigtractor, go with the 60". You can use the KK or any other brand. You don't really need hinged. Most people that I've read about or talked to say they've hardly ever unpinned the hinged back, keeping it pretty much closed.
I think the BB20-60 or equivalent would be just fine.

Just got done regrading our 0.4 mile driveway with the Kioti 60" BB - Everything worked like a charm and boy did it help the road.... Hence, I have no issues with the Kioti brand...

It's made by Midwest. May find it elsewhere for less money.
I have the BB15-48 for my CK20 and put it through a lot, it's holding up very well. John

Hello, Im about 85 miles from my kioti dealer, thats why i was looking at the King Kutter from Tractor Supply. They wanted 380$ for the 60 in. I thought that seemed like a pretty good price.. It seems about the same as the midwest bb20 series. So ill probably get the non hinged model and save a few hundred dollars.. Thanks to all.. Matt

Just keep in mind that if you have Ind tires would might want to go with a larger 5 1/2' or 72" box blade to cover your tracks. The CK30HST will pull a 72" box blade no problems. We have a couple guys using a 72" behind their CK30HST pretty heavily and have had no problems pulling it.

Hello Jon, Yes i just went down and measured my tire tracks, they were 61" from outside tread to tread, the tires measured 63" from the outside of the tire to outside of the tire. So i will look into at least the 66" . Now ill even consider the 72" . Thankyou for your help.. Matt

I tried my new Kioti 8 footer today. Played in my driveway a little moving some of the limited gravel I have left. I thought it did a good job. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I went to the dirt area surrounding my barn and moved some dirt forward and backward. I was very impressed with it!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I never did put the scarifiers down. I hate to see what it'll do then. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Albmn10,

I wanted to go a little wider than the tractor, that is why I went with the 96" instead of the 84". Good luck with yours.
