I needed to move some pallets and had already put the blower on the back of Max. I've been thinking about making brackets to mount my 3 pt hitch forks on the plow blade, got looking at it and thought for a fast and dirty job, chain will do the same as brackets. Here's the results. The long channel iron in the center is my 3rd point when using on the back. Just never got around to cutting it off and also I have holes at several heights in it so I can vary the tilt when raising it. That works well with pallets of firewood as I can lean them back while picking them up. I just put a chain binder on the 3rd point to keep forks from tilting down when lifting. It worked good but eventually I will make brackets so I can just hang it on. This should work even to turn your pickup into a fork lift. Don't know how much they'd raise though. The worst frontforks1.jpgfrontforksbinder2.jpgfrontforkschain3.jpgfrontforksmax4.jpg part about it is needing someone to guide the forks in as you cant see them at all.
