Bumping doesn't sound good, use the hydraulics to twist it back. Remove the grapple, at full dump you should see a gap on one side:]

I tried that this morning. But my pivot point is only 3.5 inches from that stops edge. Hydraulics won't do it. Need about 5-6 feet of leverage to work it back that way. As it happened, the left latch unlatched, then the left side dropped and pivoted down on the right, latched side, while dropping down in the front
.
A new carrier is (with latches) over $2000. $1300 just a bare carrier. So I just ordered two new pivot pins. They will be here Thurs or Friday.

Then I went to my local welding shop. I make 4x4s and 4x6 pine blocks for them to ship steel assemblies on, so no waiting. They told me to take the carrier off and bring it to them.

They will put it on their flat welding jig table and heat the spreader and get it straight and flat on the faces, then add bracing around the spreader bar and weld it. Possibility of sliding a rod inside the tube and weld it at each end also.

I had the carrier off the loader in about 15 minutes. 4 snap rings, 4 pins (two lightly hammered out, two pulled out by hand) and it was laying on the floor. The two pivot pins are worn a little and are just slightly bent when held up to light beside a straight edge. The loader arms are about an 1/16th or less inch different when touching the floor. So the arms are good to go.

Post pics of your repair when you get it back. Curious to see their reinforcements.

I did this on my 3940. I took it to the dealer and he straightened it by chaining it to something sturdy and bending it back with the hydraulics. It came back better than new. I think it was about $80 to fix.

I picked up the tack welded carrier yesterday afternoon. I was told to see if I could put it back on. They cut the tube and it sprung in two different directions. So they cut the tube down to 3 or so inches on each end and put a new 3 inch tube over it.

I had to put the port-a-power right behind the pin holes on the loader arms, as it needed about 1/16th on an inch to slide over the pin holes.

I got the arms into the slots of the carrier and put one pin in. But the other pin was about 3/16th inch off. So I aired up the trailer tires and loaded the Mahindra on the trailer and set my alarm clock for 5:30. Their welder jumped right on it this morning and removed one end of the tack welds. We installed the 4 pins and I lowered the loader arms down onto a 1 inch thick welding table, with the carrier's faces flat on the table. I raised the front axle off the ground (to keep it flat on the table), disconnected the battery, and he tacked it again.

I brought the grapple with me to test fit after tack welding the 2nd time. I was able to latch the carrier latches by hand. But I had a hard time getting the grapple off. We went ahead and welded it up, while I was thinking the grapple is twisted somewhat. I home and got the Mahindra unloaded and latched on my bucket, to unload the grapple and put the trailer to bed. It fit like factory new. After a short nap, I latched on the grapple to figure out what was what. I figured out the grapple right side sets on the the floor while the left side is about 1.5 inches off the floor. I put 2x4s under the left side and the grapple came off a lot easier.8-14-20 Loader Carrier Painted Left.jpg8-14-20 Loader Carrier Painted Right.jpg
So I guess I will always have a 2x4 available to rest under the left side. Or buy a new one.:thumbdown:

My welding shop cost is gonna be two dozen kolaches and two dozen donuts next week.:D

That was my experience as well. I welded mine with it flat on the floor. My Grapple also hitches a bit hard but I think it's bent. No worries. Glad your repair went well.
