I picked up the tack welded carrier yesterday afternoon. I was told to see if I could put it back on. They cut the tube and it sprung in two different directions. So they cut the tube down to 3 or so inches on each end and put a new 3 inch tube over it.
I had to put the port-a-power right behind the pin holes on the loader arms, as it needed about 1/16th on an inch to slide over the pin holes.
I got the arms into the slots of the carrier and put one pin in. But the other pin was about 3/16th inch off. So I aired up the trailer tires and loaded the Mahindra on the trailer and set my alarm clock for 5:30. Their welder jumped right on it this morning and removed one end of the tack welds. We installed the 4 pins and I lowered the loader arms down onto a 1 inch thick welding table, with the carrier's faces flat on the table. I raised the front axle off the ground (to keep it flat on the table), disconnected the battery, and he tacked it again.
I brought the grapple with me to test fit after tack welding the 2nd time. I was able to latch the carrier latches by hand. But I had a hard time getting the grapple off. We went ahead and welded it up, while I was thinking the grapple is twisted somewhat. I home and got the Mahindra unloaded and latched on my bucket, to unload the grapple and put the trailer to bed. It fit like factory new. After a short nap, I latched on the grapple to figure out what was what. I figured out the grapple right side sets on the the floor while the left side is about 1.5 inches off the floor. I put 2x4s under the left side and the grapple came off a lot easier.

So I guess I will always have a 2x4 available to rest under the left side. Or buy a new one.
