quick attach for B7800

I'm lining up a purchase of a B7800 for my church. I want the quick-attach system for the sake of hooking up a QA snowplow and other implements as they are needed. Originally I was looking at the ATI Tach-All Quick Attach for $650-only way to purchase is through the dealer. After talking w/ my dealer, we walked out into the yard and looked at the quick attach system for a L series, took measurements and it looks as if it will work. The pins are the same diameter, although the bracket on the QA for the L series (QA part number is L2230) is wider. Not a problem as I see it, just weld on bungs to properly space the pins. It turns out by buying the QA for the L series and the 66" (smallest available for L series) quick attach bucket L2234 and a little welding on my part, I"ll have a QA system for the B7800.

So....has anyone done this before?

Has anyone run extra valves and hydraulics to the front of the FEL? I'll want to use it to run hydraulics for the snowplow, but other uses may be QA sweepers, QA posthole digger or anything else made for the bobcat/skid steers.

The only problem with using the Kubota QA is the weight of QA and larger size bucket add to FEL. The 402 FEL has a max load lift of 1000 lbs. The QA and 66" bucket will be quite a bit heavier than a 60" bucket bucket for a 402 FEL.

Tach-all makes a tach all and bucket for that tractor. that is the 1 you want but get the 60 inch bucket.

Horst Welding makes a QA adapter as well. Might be a bit cheaper than ATI but it is still a chunk of change.

Make sure the Kubota adapter is truly universal/skid steer and not proprietary (I don't know but I thought some of the Kubota quick attach systems were not universal).

If you just want to be able to switch out attachments on the FEL. You may want to consider the Kubota Quick Coupler. If welding is not a problem it is a great way to go. Weigh less and will fit many Kubota attachments. Most Skid Steer attachments are way to heavy for the 402 loader.

That part #2230 is the one for L3130 and fits L2800/3400 also, I have it on my L2800 which uses a 60" bucket and the bradco plate welded to my bucket.

Without measurements it is hard to be certain but those photos sure look like a universal skid steer quick attach style. Have you tried to hook up implements other than the Kubota buckets? Unless the Kubota QA was more expensive there would be no reason to look at ATI or Horst if this is a universal QA.

That will not fit the B7800, the only tach all that uses skid stear for the B7800 is made by ATI. That is for a bigger tractor

I think the original poster thought he could cut and weld it to fit the B7800. I also presume Horst makes a QA adapter that would fit the B series. They make one that fit the Kioti CK20.
