Quick Attach for Cat 2

And brand preferences for cat 2 quick attach? I've done some research, and most seem the same as long as you get the adjustment for the top hook. Speedo has one that doesn't require the pins, but they only seem to make cat 1, not cat 2. I'm thinking of going Titan. It's for a JD 5055e.

Another very good option is Eurohooks , quite a few threads on this board talking about them.
My LS is category 1 and 2 and i had Eurohooks installed removed the sliding links and shipped them to a board member out in California to have them welded on. i already had a hydraulic top link which is another very handy option, hooking and unhooking heavy equipment is much easier now

It's 'Speeco' not Speedco and I don't see any difference between any of them other than a pin change. HF has theirs on sale this month for pretty cheap. Have no need for one as my lower links telescope.

I use the Pat's quick hitch on my Cat 1 tractor but have never had the need for one on my Cat 2 tractor as both lift arms telescope like what 5030 is talking about, but the Pat's quick hitch is priceless on my smaller tractor and allows you a lot of flexibility with implements that the lift pins are spaced differently on giving you the ability to hook up to anything.

Why not just go to JD and get what you need. Pricey? Sure but after 25 years with the one I have no complaints and works as good as the day I got it. Gets moved from tractor to tractor pending application. Purchased only because the plows were a pain to hook up but the benefits quickly added up. The ability to drop the plows in the field and not keep them on the tractor was huge. Not needing to remove the drawbar for plow clearance was another.

Pats on my Cat 2. No need to mess with the telescoping links...tried the standard quick attach. It didn't fit all of my attachments.

Another vote for the Euro hooks or lower link hooks.

It just works. Reliable, easy to use, no frame in the way or modifications needed on the implements, doesn't put pins on a bind since it retains the ball joint and it will most likely out last the tractor.

Borrowed quick hitch from a friend, it made hooking up the PTO for my rear mount snowblower very difficult so returned it to my friend and lost all interest in buying one for myself.
But I do have friends that love their quick hitches .

I have the telescoping lift arms and hydraulic top and tilt. All of these things together make it easy to attach and detach implements.
