I have a GC2610 that I use for plowing snow with a home made 60" bucket and have no problems on flat ground even when it is picking up near it's maximum capacity.

Can you post some pictures or link to them? I am very interested in seeing how you made it. I think a snow pusher or modified plow would be great. I run out of room so a bucket to dump behind fences is a huge benefit. I was thinking one for pushing and one for dumping (48”).

quick change 023.JPGquick change 024.JPGquick change 025.JPGquick change 026.JPGquick change 026.JPG I made my own quick change because all the ones I was able to find were way too heavy for my machine. I couldn't afford to lose 150 lbs. or more from the loader capacity

This looks quite clever. How do you lock in the bottoms.
I see you have the attachments close in to, so probably get a bit more lift just from that.

Ah yes...the DL100 FEL... That poor setup got absolutely no love in the aftermarket save for 1 vendor who's name escapes me. Nice work making it. If the DL100 can handle a 60" then the DL95 & FL1805 should be absolutely fine.

The bottom parts are held in with a 1/2"bolt. I was a bit uncertain about the strength when I made it so haven't converted the OEM bucket yet as I would need to cut it apart, but haven't had any problems yet. I have done a bit of back blading using the larger bucket but am not yet sure it will stand up to the abuse I give it digging and leveling gravel. There is nothing joining the two adapters on the arms as I didn't want to give up any capacity but the hassle lining things up to install is a very minor nuisance. I can change from the large bucket to the adapter for a jib pole or the forks in about two or three minutes. I have since added a cup to the top of the frame to move my 25' fifth wheel trailer. The bucket is two feet wider than OEM and about 8" taller. Just by luck, it is about the maximum the tractor would handle. My driveway is about 250' long and I was hoping to reduce my plowing time by 25%. Unexpectedly, it cut it in half as there are many less windrows to clean up.

That is amazing that you can make use of that bucket. Nice ingenuity getting everything to work.

Best part is, not counting welding wire and electricity, I've got no more than $150.00 invested in this. A sheet of steel, 2x2 for the forks and paint. All the rest is material someone else was throwing away.
